The front door screen was locked, and I saw a bear on my porch. We have the bear spray right there by the front door and back door. I grabbed the spray and blasted it through the screen. That bear took off. Our place smelled like pepper spray, but it worked.

I looked outside and saw two teenagers hanging flyers to cut my grass. I have a no soliciting sign, but I guess those don’t work. The fact that they weren’t trying to break in doesn’t matter. What if they were? That alarm gave me a heads up and I’m so thankful I had it on.
